AIMS & OBJECTIVES:

Workshops:
To reach 20 000 children, through 65 schools, 300 students per workshop, 6 x facilitated drumming workshops per school.

Training:
Identifying leaders, 4 students and 2 educators per school to be trained as facilitators. The 3-day training will include leadership, team-building and personal development programs. The student facilitators will continue the drumming workshops on a weekly basis ensuring the sustainability of the project.
Each school will be provided with 300 x 5ltr Riempie drums, 3 x Djembe drums, 1 x Bass drum and percussion instruments.

TWENTY THOUSAND DRUMS EVENT:
The Gauteng Program will culminate in a Guinness World Record Event of 20 000 drummers in Johannesburg Stadium as a celebration of the 10–Year Democracy of South Africa.

DELIVERABLES:
· Re-instate established African Heritage and cultural traditions
· Empower individuals and ultimately form strengthened communities
· Create a positive spirit within the community
· Emotional healing methodology
