A 'SPECIAL PROJECT' SERVING AFRICA
THE EXPORT AFRICA EXHIBITION
**********************************
The Export Africa Exhibition - Africa’s premier annual export trade exhibition. Explore Africa’s products and services.
Just South Africa’s trade with Africa alone grew by an incredible 560% in the period between 1992 and 2003. At an average 50% growth rate, this exceeds by far the country’s comparative growth in trade with the European Union, which grew by a nevertheless impressive 314% in the same period, or at an average annual rate of 35%. These figures demonstrate the massive growth potential for export trade within the continent itself as well as with the world at large.
With globalization and increasing international competition the current realities of the global landscape, ExportAfrica’s organisers are also proud to launch the second ImportAfrica. By running this expo alongside ExportAfrica, visitors are given a balanced view of their trading environment.
Besides offering South African manufacturers and industrialists insights into a multitude of new products, technologies and opportunities available to them, ImportAfrica will also introduce new components and semi-finished goods which they might use in the value added process in Africa for export to the rest of the world.
ExportAfrica supports the vision and principles of New Economic Partnership for African Development (Nepad) by building the export capacity for African companies, promoting South African and African exports to the rest of the world, and growing inter-African trade to facilitate faster economic growth on the continent.
We are sure that with the continued support of all parties - including exhibitors and visitors – ExportAfrica 2007, incorporating ImportAfrica 2007, will continue to be Africa’s premier annual export trading hub.
