Food Security, Safety and Quality is a growing concern not only in the African soil but also across the world. There is increasing need to provide greater assurance about the security, safety and Quality of food to consumers. Africa has optimal potential for food production, consumption, management and trading. Its enhanced share in world food trade could lead to adoption of products innovation and food safety measures. Food safety is an increasingly important public health issue and it is the right of the consumer to have and eat safe and quality food.
In this context AA’s first Conference and Exhibition is a step to synergize collaborative efforts among the stakeholders to deliberate on the issues related to Agriculture, Rural Development, Food Security, Safety, Quality Assurance, Products Innovation and Management This industry-led science and technology gathering seeks to bridge the gap between ideas and discoveries and products in the marketplace.
