2ND ANNUAL WATER AND WASTE MANAGEMENT IN MINING MASTERCLASS
The 2nd Annual “Water and Waste management in Mining” is a 3-day masterclass that will provide a unique opportunity to explore the recent innovations and developments related to availability and the efficient use of water in the mining industry. The course will take an applied approach, using real world examples to illustrate the fundamental concepts of managing wastewater operations, treatment of hydrocarbon-polluted water, planning for mine site closure and rehabilitation etc. In addition to the above, the course also focuses on treatment and disposal methods for solid and hazardous waste management at mine sites.
