WIND POWER AFRICA 2010

***** AN  African Wind Energy Association (AfriWEA)  EVENT *****
12-14 MAY 2010
CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE SOUTH AFRICA

WIND POWER AFRICA 2010 will tackle the full range of wind energy subjects and will especially focus on developing strategies and instruments for wind energy in less– and non–industrialised countries of the world. The adaptation of successful technologies and strategies to specific regional and local conditions will be the central theme of our conference. The conference will address not only technology issues but also policy and regulatory aspects, funding, return on investment and environmental impact. Since wind alone cannot be seen to stand for rapid change in energy supply, a major Renewable Energy Exhibition will run alongside the conference, demonstrating synergies with and joint projects of a variety of renewable energy technologies.

"MADE IN AFRICA - FOR AFRICA"

THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA
is a private, 'not-for-profit', non-membership, organisation actively serving Africa by promoting processes conducive to sustainable development
......throughout Africa - with the emphasis on sustainability!
This organisation is currently rated as one of the most proactive Sustainable Business Development Organisations in Africa!
Serving Africa since 1999.

We are actively involved with promoting the
AFRICAN RENEWAL PROGRAMME

However -
We firmly believe that sustainable development is a process that must start from within - Africa needs to "partner" with herself first!
We also prefer the phrase: "Lets create wealth" rather than "Lets alleviate poverty"
Our initiatives include enabler 'showcasing'; networking opportunities; business opportunities; investment opportunities; promotion of special projects; dissemination of business information; joint venture initiatives and a range of value added services - all to serve

AFRICA!

THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA (FDA)

is proud to present you with a host of issues promoting
SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
throughout AFRICA and therefore proudly supports and endorses:

The following TOWNS and CITIES, are partly or considering, participating in the
