I made some 147 contacts at OECD GLOBAL FORUM on International Investment in New Delhi, India - the beauty of these useful contacts (world-wide) is the fact that they truly share my passion for Africa's Sustainable Development!
May I take this opportunity to thank the OECD for facilitating the OECD GFII Forum in Delhi and for once again allowing the world to contribute to all the issues around establishing a sustainable economic environment attractive to international investors.
Some of the significant interactions included the establishment of I SUPPORT INDIA campaign to be facilitated by a very pro-active NGO in India while we are also establishing an association with WAIPA - World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies - who were very active at the OECD GFII and held their first Regional Workshop on Strategic Marketing - sponsored and presented by IBM Belgium - Plant Location International - well done IBM!

Hi Peter
I decided to visit the Hilton Hotel on Wednesday afternoon, as I have heard so many positive stories of business deals being closed there. I also understood that so many people is attending the Hilton Hotel Network. I arrived at the Hilton not a minute later than 17:00 in order for me to see as many people as possible. Gues what? It was only me, myself and I. I really got worried later on as only one or two extra people came at about 17:30. I then made up my mind that the Pretoria people at the Sheraton Network is still more eager to do business, but hopefully they won't get lazy!!! Luckily, just before I wanted to leave, a few more people arrived and that made my day!! Even a huge possible Roadfreight business opportunity could be mine as I am also marketing Courier and Roadfreight Services
When I left the Hilton, the following words came to mind:
"Networking evenings is like a box of chocolate, you never know who you are going to meet!"
Is'nt that a good reason not to miss a networking opportunity.
