World Bank Institute Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Program and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School is sponsoring an opportunity for young leaders from around the world to come forward with innovative ideas, strategies, and research concerning the role of business in sustainable development and poverty alleviation.

This sponsorship forms part of an International Essay and Research Competition entitled: The Role of Business in Development: Future Leaders' Perspectives

InWEnt - INQUIRY AND ANALYSIS - A final appeal
InWEnt - Capacity Building International, Germany is an official development assistance body of the Government of Germany for international human resources development, advanced training and dialogue.

InWEnt seeks local partners in the SADC region. These partners are intended to be the basis needed for project implementation in SADC countries. These partners will on the one hand assist InWEnt in project implementation and will on the other hand be strengthened through training by international specialists during a project cycle. Primarily these local project partners should be Business Development Service Providers (BDS)

InWEnt plans to implement training programs for Business Development Service Providers (BDS) in the SADC region in near future. In order to enable InWEnt to plan these training programs a study on the use of IT technologies, web-based training and computer aided training amongst BDS is conducted.

FDA NETWORKING FUNCTION
Our next FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA - FDA NETWORKING FUNCTION, will take place on Tuesday 24 February 2004, 18H00 for 18H30. This event will be held at the Hilton Sandton, Sandton, South Africa.

The topic for the evening will focus on Communication and address some of the frustrations, expectations and available technology currently available.
