ACCESS TO FINANCE - AN ISSUE!

ACCESS TO FINANCE - AN ISSUE!
You may recall I recently sent an email informing our contacts about the next FDA 'FORMAL' NETWORKING FUNCTION - the topic: "ACCESS TO FINANCE"

I have received no less than 35 requests for finance - no doubt - there is a need to address this matter!

More information on this event will be made available soon.

WHO ARE WE?
There is somewhat of a misconception as to who or what the FDA actually is and does.

The (FDA) FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA, (Association Incorporated Under Section 21) - South African Registration Number 2003 / 010507 / 08, is a private 'not-for-profit' organisation actively involved with initiating and facilitating business and other processes conducive to sustainable development in Africa - with the emphasis on sustainability! The FDA is currently rated as one of the most proactive Business Development Organizations in Africa - serving Africa since 1999.

These processes include a host of initiatives such as our world-rated websites; organising networking opportunities, match-making, allowing people to interact with one another, with the intent of doing business that may lead to job creation therefore creating wealth.

We create and establish the platform to allow you to operate!

HOW DO WE 'SURVIVE'
The FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA (FDA) does not receive funding from any African government, the African Union or NEPAD. Nor do we receive grants from development agencies. We do not have funds available to 'fund' projects - what we do have is the contacts who may be able to assist in financing your project.

Our efforts, in serving Africa, are subject to the same cost associated with any other business - rent; telephone; stationery; travel; etc.

How then do we survive?

We are reliant on the contributions made by businesses and individuals who participate as follow:
