Hear, hear!
Well done to _all_ African countries who competed at the World Cup.
They have given us a continental identity and unity that has overridden, at least for a while, many of the unhappy areas of our past, and allowed us a glimpse of a bright future when we have dealt with and outgrown our present patches of misery.
Rooting for you, as always, Peter,

Thank you Peter,
It was a battle well fought we would surely do better in 2010.
Our participation in the tournament gave birth to a new sense of national pride never seen before , transcending political differences...it is amazing.
Thank you again for the support

Dear Peter,
I couldn't agree more with you. Go Ghana, go!!
In fact, I am thinking of writing to FIFA requesting them to stop the international commentators on TV from making such stupid and silly comments around the African teams.
I'm finding their comments a bit annoying and condescending at times.
They are obviously biased towards certain European and South American teams.
As we are hosting the 2010 Cup, they should give us some credit for even being there, no??
Cheers from Cape Town

Definetely, Viva Ghana.
It was unfortunate that they had to take on a team like Brazil so early on.

Hi Peter
Many thanks for this and your other messages.
You have been a faithful ambassador for the cause of Africa.
Well done!
Indeed, considering that most countries did not make it at all to the World Cup, never mind the last 16, we must give thanks to God for taking Ghana and Africa so far.
Bring on 2010, SA!
Best regards
