2007 - A YEAR FULL OF POSITIVE EXPECTATIONS

You may recall my final email for 2006 ended on somewhat of a sad note when I informed you of the unfortunate incident, where our home/office was burgled, while in Dubai. Although devastated (for a day or two) I soon regarded the incident as a challenge and now find myself eager to serve Africa and our People and looking forward to 2007 with great enthusiasm, more than ever willing to turn this African continent around for the better.

If I had any doubt about the support I have from our contacts, all over the world, the emails, calls and SMS's I received, following my email on 5 December 2006, says it all.

I have spent days capturing these comments and kind wishes on our Website and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all - these comments make for some very interesting reading - see:

We, Wim DU PLESSIS (Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for the Development of Africa), Ben RASEROKA (Chief Executive Officer of the Africa Trade Centre) and I have pledged to make this the year that Africa turns the corner - we need you to participate in our efforts proactively - see how:

Dear Pieter,
I really hope the New Year will have some real good business in store for you and us.
I am sorry to hear of your burglary. It is a violation of your space and worse financial losses most probably.
There is no question, there is a lot of wealth on our continent and roaring business - for some - we have just to persevere and create the opportunities which we would like to appear before us for the taking!
Whether we look at 1560 or 2006 we are still so fare removed from our original state of being as co- creators of the Master!
Humanity is a slow learner!
Pieter and I really wish you and Rose a blessed and prosperous new year.
May your success be great in 2007!!!
Kind regards

Greetings!
It is indeed a new year with old and new challenges; however both need a new approach to achieve the goals we set for ourselves.
Best wishes to the challenges ahead and I trust that the FDA will continue its good work and be successful in its endeavors.
