HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CITY OF GEORGE? (George Contacts Only)

**********************************

The AFRICA TRADE CENTRE AND THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA proudly presents you with the following information that may add value to Africa's development.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CITY OF GEORGE?

THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA in collaboration with the AFRICA TRADE CENTRE through the I SUPPORT AFRICA CAMPAIGN, proudly supported by The City of George LED and the GEORGE HERALD, is about to launch this Local Economic Development Project within The City of George, as a pilot project, to be ‘rolled out’ to every community throughout the entire continent, creating one HUGE Local Economic Network Hub.

We have just released a comprehensive report on the “progress to-date” in The City of George, regarding this LED – Local Economic Development Project – I SUPPORT THE CITY OF GEORGE! For more information see:
http://www.isupportgeorge.co.za/info/index.htm

Select the link: I SUPPORT GEORGE PROJECT INFORMATION AS AT 01-03-2009

This project will effectively ‘elevate’ The City of George, with all her products and services she has to offer, into the Global Arena. Now although the Global Arena is somewhat bleak at this stage – trade is still taking place and will improve and trade is taking place in George and will improve!

SO WHAT IS THE ‘I SUPPORT “COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT” PROJECT?’ This project promotes and supports an investment ‘climate’ through positive participation that will allow for the initiation and implementation of business projects, no matter how insignificant, that would lead to ‘job creation’ (employment opportunities) that would stimulate the local economy and lead to prosperity.

THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA in collaboration with the AFRICA TRADE CENTRE through the I SUPPORT AFRICA CAMPAIGN provides this 'platform' to allow the "you and I" (of any community) to participate in this development process and to allow everyone (in any community) to showcase their products and/or services that will add value to (the community and ultimately Africa's) sustainable development!

Try this: Go to www.google.com and search for “How can I support George” – you will be pleasantly surprised!

The ‘pilot’ project is to be launched on Thursday 07 May 2009 in The City of George - More detail will follow via the GEORGE HERALD, our strategic partner in this initiative.

The I SUPPORT GEORGE project encompasses the following:

FIRSTLY ……
Everyone is encouraged to add their name to the growing list of names - all proclaiming - "YES - I SUPPORT THE CITY OF GEORGE!" http://www.isupportgeorge.co.za/names/index.htm

SECONDLY ……
Support and promote trade within THE CITY OF GEORGE! Abide to a number of business principles - most importantly - "Good Governance"

THIRDLY ……
Support LOCAL products and services serving THE CITY OF GEORGE! List your products and/or services on the comprehensive database – PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SERVING THE CITY OF GEORGE /AFRICA.
http://www.isupportgeorge.co.za/products_services_serving_george/index.htm

HOW WILL THIS PROJECT AFFECT GEORGE?

POSITIVELY!

The objective of this "HOW CAN I SUPPORT 'THE CITY OF GEORGE' CAMPAIGN" is to mobilize the PEOPLE of THE CITY OF GEORGE to 'take hands' in support of George and her people!

This campaign therefore endeavors to promote THE CITY OF GEORGE; the PEOPLE in George; BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES in George; INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES in George; PRODUCTS AND SERVICES available in George; EVENTS taking place in George; DESTINATIONS in George; THINGS TO DO in George and just about everything that makes George a great place to live in!

What is needed is a PPP (Partnership of Positive Participation)!

Take care
Peter
