The AFRICA TRADE CENTRE AND THE FOUNDATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA proudly presents you with the following information that may add value to Africa's development.

Most of Africa is 'back-to-normal' following the Xmas break - welcome back and may 2009 bring you all you have wished for!

We are celebrating our tenth anniversary of serving Africa .. and have we grown!

In 2008 our websites enjoyed 1,864,023 visits (an average of 5,107 per day) and 105,620 unique visits (an average of 289 first-time visits per day) - see http://www.foundation-development-africa.org/2008_statistics.htm

Once again it is very evident that the rest of the world will drop its attention and everything else on Africa, at a drop of a hat, to focus on anything else happening outside of Africa - we must accept this and start focusing on how we can help ourselves and do it on our own!

With this in mind we have been focused on the AFRICA TRADE CENTRE MASTER PLAN.

This MASTER PLAN includes the further development of our comprehensive database of PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SERVING AFRICA

It also provides for the unique ATC VIDEO CONFERENCING NETWORK which will provide for a secure trade deliberation across the world.

Furthermore the MASTER PLAN includes the I SUPPORT 'MY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT' PROJECT that promotes and supports an investment 'climate' through positive participation that will allow for the initiation and implementation of business projects, no matter how insignificant, that would lead to 'job creation' (employment opportunities) that would stimulate the local economy and lead to prosperity.
