First allow me to congratulate you on your appointments - no doubt your efforts in serving Africa is being recognised.
The response:
Lynette Chen responded by saying the members of her committee vary from meeting to meeting.
I am not sure if it is worth pursuing these NEPAD Industry Sectors committees - I am convinced they are not to keen to share what they are achieving. Participation is available through invitation only - I doubt if our people will ever be included in these processes.
Africa must take hands and become united in her efforts to implement this important NEPAD initiative - Africa will succeed!

We received word that a number of NEPAD INDUSTRY SECTOR COMMITTEES had been formed - I have endeavored to obtain as much information regarding these committees from the five elected chairpersons.
ICT - Lynette Chen
WATER - Simo Lushaba
INFRASTRUCTURE - Roelof van Tonder
FINANCE - Cas Coovadia
Secondly, we would like your permission to reflect this information (your contact detail) on our world-rated website.
Thirdly, would it be possible to inform us of who all is serving on your respective committees?
Finally, would you be able to keep us informed on your activities?
Cas Coovadia responded with only two meetings to date - poor turnout and that he welcomed our efforts.
Roelof van Tonder promised to make contact as soon as he could afford the time.
The others have not responded.
