I read the Women for Purpose article that appeared in the George Herald last week and was very encouraged by your objectives.
I am a George business woman and my company manufactures a range of food products for the dairy industry and other related industries.
We recently embarked on supporting the Thembalethu centre for abused children and women. Most of these children and women who have been abused/ raped often go without eating for days and the centre requires food donations to feed them. In most instances, these children are so traumatised by what has happened to them that they are not able to eat and the centre has had to deal with this situation unaided.
My company will be supporting this cause and in fact we start today with supplying yoghurt and fruit juice.
I believe it is so important for us to support, uplift and improve the lives of others and when we work together as individuals, organisations or companies the positive effect is magnanimous.

May we all embrace this worthy cause by making a difference and changing the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
